Operate your AP Mount wirelessly! A set of R.A./DEC. Motors + Wireless Unit.

This module kit upgrades your manually operated AP Mount to the advanced AP-WL Mount. With the addition of the kit, you can easily enjoy celestial navigation, such as automatic Go-To slewing and tracking, all operated with just a tap on your smartphone screen (A dedicated app is required).

  • Motor Modules (R.A./DEC.)

    The motor module has a built-in bearing, ensuring stable operation. It is equipped with a USB Micro-B 2.0 port and can be powered by any external USB power source (such as a mobile battery).

  • "Wireless Unit" lets you control your Telescope with a Smartphone

    By installing the free dedicated smartphone app "STAR BOOK Wireless" on your smartphone, you can use it as a telescope controller. You can enjoy functions like automatic Go-To slewing* to celestial objects just by tapping the star chart displayed on the screen.

    *During Go-To slewing, the mount travels at approximately 100x the sidereal rate at maximum.

  • AP Clamp Lever

    The AP clamp levers are required when using the automatic Go-To function with the Wireless Unit. When operating the AP-WL with the friction-stop function, properly adjust the clamp’s tightening torque to set the desired stiffness or looseness.
