The VSD70SS carrying case is designed to allow quick and easy removal of the optical tube for use. In addition to the optical tube alone, it can accommodate the optical tube with the dovetail plate or tube rings attached. For convenience at the imaging site, the case provides ample space around the focuser when storing the VSD70SS.
It also has enough room to store imaging accessories such as the Reducer V0.71, Wide Photo Adapter 60DX adapter ring, a third-party Electric Focuser, and more.

Extremely Lightweight and Durable new material Plapearl

Using the newly developed material Plapearl—an extremely light and durable polypropylene—this case features a three-dimensional structure with a two-piece construction, thanks to the material’s bending properties. As a result, its weight is reduced by more than 30% compared to an equivalent aluminum case, which requires 6 plates for a similar three-dimensional structure.

The seamless construction (except for the opening) ensures excellent airtightness. Plapearl combines lightweight durability with high bending rigidity, allowing the case to return to shape even after impacts.
