Lightweight short optical tube.
A short tube achromatic refractor with retractable dew shield. The overall size can be changed as short as about 30cm in length. The weight of the optical tube is only 1.8kg although it is durably made of metal. Its compact and lightweight optical tube matches well with the AP mount. The telescope comes with two eyepieces of long eye relief that yield magnification of 35x and 130x. The moon, planets and bright Messier objects are enjoyable with this model.

Rotatable Crayford focuser with a scale.
The Crayford focuser mechanism moves the drawtube by means of roller bearings. It has no backlash and wobbling which may occur with a rack-and-pinion mechanism when focusing. The focuser achives silk smooth movements and suitable for viewing the moon and bright planets at high magnification. There is a scale in millimeter on the drawtube to check the point of focus. The focuser can be rotated freely to meet your observing position.

Visual back versatility.
The compression ring is used for the visual back. It can be hold an eyepiece uniformly and securely without marring the sleeve of the eyepiece. The eyepiece adapter has 42mm T-ring thread that allows for prime focus photography with a DSLR camera and a T-ring. Also it is available for eyepiece projection photography.

Dovetail attachment bar with a 1/4" socket for camera tripod.
The built-in dovetail attachment bar can be fitted to the head of the Vixen mounts such as SX series, Porta II and Mini Porta. The tripod screw socket of the dovetail attachment bar is compatible with 1/4" and 3/8" screws.

Carry case.
The carry case is provided as standard accessory. It comes with a convenient shoulder strap. The optical tube, XY red dot finder and diagonal mirror can be stored neatly.
