The Moon views closer.
You may think that "Astronomical observation seems difficult to get into." This easy-to-use moon-viewing telescope, "MiruMOON," will overturn such an image.
The concept is "enjoying the Moon with ease." While it's as simple to use as a toy, the MiruMOON is designed and manufactured by a professional telescope manufacturer. It's packed with attention to detail to help you enjoy observing the Moon and bright celestial objects.
Why not enjoy the beautiful universe of the Moon and stars with MiruMOON tonight?
■ One-Touch Magnification Change
There are three eyepiece attachment positions (top, right, and left), and you can attach the supplied low-magnification (16x) and high-magnification (57x) eyepieces to any two of them.
The universal design allows for easy use regardless of your dominant hand or eye.
To change the observing magnification, only turn the mirror flip knob. The built-in flip mirror changes the light path, allowing you to observe through the other eyepiece with different magnification.
■ "Unity Finder" for Easy Aiming
The MiruMOON is equipped with a zero-power "sight hole" finder that makes it easy to introduce celestial objects into the telescope's field of view.
By centering the Moon in the finder's hole, the same object will also be in the telescope's field of view, allowing you to start observing quickly.
■ Easy-to-Focus
You can adjust the focus by turning the knurled focus ring at the front of the telescope barrel.
The distance from the eyepiece to the focus ring is designed so that even children can easily reach it while looking through the telescope's eyepiece.
The MiruMOON telescope barrel is equipped with a mount with two "fine adjustment knobs" that allow for precise adjustment of altitude (up-and-down) and direction (left-and-right).
Its smooth operation makes it easy even for small children to use, and the telescope stops precisely at any desired position, making it easy for novice users to bring the Moon into view.
These fine-adjustment knobs are also useful when tracking the Moon as it moves moment by moment once it is in the field of view.
■ Multi-coatings (anti-reflective multi-layer coatings)
The optical surfaces of the lenses are multi-coated to reduce light reflection, providing a clear, high-contrast view that clearly shows you the craters and uneven surfaces of the Moon.
■ H-type (Huygens) and PL-type (Plossl) eyepieces.
The two included eyepieces are H-type (25mm) and PL-type (7mm), which produce clear, sharp images.
It comes with a lightweight, portable, 4-section telescopic camera tripod (video tripod).
■Gear-used elevator: Turn the crank handle to adjust the tripod height for comfortable viewing.
■Level: Equipped with a bubble-type level that helps ensure the tripod is set up level.
■Quick shoe: The telescope can be attached and detached with a one-touch. It uses a quick shoe with a standard thin attachment plate.
■2-way pan head: Large up-and-down and left-and-right movements can be controlled using the pan handle and pan lock.
An easy-to-follow setup that even children can do on their own.
1. Setting up the tripod:
Set up the tripod on a flat surface (flat ground).
2. Attaching the telescope:
Secure the MiruMOON telescope to the tripod with the provided quick-release shoe.
3. Searching for the Moon:
Loosen the pan handle on the tripod head, then use it to point the telescope roughly toward the Moon.
4. Looking through the simple finder:
Adjust the fine-adjustment knobs on the telescope's mount so that the Moon is centered in the simple finder hole.
5. Focusing:
While looking through the low-magnification (25mm) eyepiece, turn the knurled ring on the front objective lens to focus.
6. Switching magnification:
Try zooming in on the Moon by switching to the high-magnification (7mm) eyepiece. It's a one-touch operation with the mirror flip knob.
7. Following the moon:
Since the Moon moves, you can track it by simply turning the two fine adjustment knobs without moving the tripod.
