This component allows you to attach and detach dovetail plates that match Vixen's thin dovetail attachment standard. It enables you to mount an optical tube or a camera on a Vixen equatorial mount effortlessly without replacing the attachment plate.

This holder features a quick-release design that clamps a dovetail plate from the side, allowing small telescopes and camera equipment to be attached and removed instantly.

Compatible with a Wide Range of Astro-imaging Gear
With mounting holes for two M8 screws spaced 35 mm apart, this holder is compatible with a wide range of imaging equipment, not only Vixen products. The standard 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the underside also allows direct attachment to camera tripods.

Compatible with SXP Series Mounts
It features a long locking handle that provides easy operation and is compatible with the wider mounting platforms of the SXP Series equatorial mounts (SXP and SXP2).
