Expands the Choice of Imaging Systems that can be attached to the Focuser

It enables you to attach a commercially available CMOS astro-imaging camera* or a 48mm thread adapter ring to the focuser, equipped with a 60mm female thread.

*Depending on the CMOS camera, a separate extension tube may be required.

Equipped with the Mechanics to rotate a Camera's Framing

By loosening the lock screws, the camera can be rotated without being removed, enabling easy adjustment of the image orientation. The tip of the lock screw embedded with Delrin enhances contact between the components and reduces the risk of squaring misalignment.

“Squaring misalignment” refers to a deviation between the image plane formed by the objective lens and the image sensor surface inside the camera. These planes must remain parallel; if not, stars near the corners of the image may appear out of focus, degrading overall image quality.

Compatible with Commercially Available Filters

When used in combination with the “M56 Filter Conversion Adapter 48/52” (sold separately), commercially available 48 mm or 52 mm camera lens filters can be attached.

Cannot be used together with the Collector PH, Extender PH, Coma Collector 3, or SDP Reducer.
