Achromatic (3-element lens)! 20x magnification designed for superior image quality.
As magnification increases, chromatic aberration (color fringing) becomes more pronounced. To address this, the DL14 employs a triplet achromatic design composed of three glass elements with different refractive indices. Even at a high magnification of 20×, it maintains sharp image definition while minimizing color fringing.

Anti-reflective coating (Magnesium fluoride coating)
The DL14 reduces light loss by applying a magnesium fluoride (MgF?) anti-reflective coating to the outer surfaces of its lenses. This ensures a bright, high-contrast field of view, even at high magnifications where images tend to appear darker.
